Get your property ready for winter with RML Ground Maintenance and RML Roofing Services. Our combined winter maintenance package covers your garden and the exterior of your property, helping you prepare for the colder months.

What Each Service Includes
Final grass cut
A last cut of the season to leave the lawn short and tidy before growth slows for winter. Cuttings are cleared away, so the lawn goes into the colder months neat and healthy.
Hedge trimming
Hedges are cut back and shaped to keep them tidy through the winter months. All cuttings are cleared up and taken away.
Weed removal
Weeds are removed from beds, borders, paths and patios, so they don't take hold over the winter and come back stronger in spring.
Leaf clearance
Fallen leaves are cleared from lawns, beds, paths and driveways. Left lying, they can smother the lawn and make paths slippery, so we clear them and take them away.
Garden tidy-up
A general tidy of the garden before winter: beds and borders cut back, outdoor areas cleared, and everything left neat and manageable.
Garden clearance
For gardens that have got on top of you. Overgrown areas, green waste and unwanted garden items are cleared and taken away, leaving the space clear.
Pressure washing paths and patios
Paths and patios are pressure washed to remove moss, algae and dirt. As well as looking better, they're less slippery in wet and icy weather.
Fencing & gate repairs
Damaged fence panels, posts and gates are repaired, so your boundaries are secure before the winter wind and weather. Materials are quoted separately.
Gutter cleaning
Leaves, moss and debris are cleared from the gutters so rainwater can drain freely. Blocked gutters can overflow and cause damp, so it's worth doing before winter. Carried out by RML Roofing Services.
Visual roof inspection with photos
A visual check of the roof for slipped or damaged tiles and other visible problems, with photos so you can see its condition for yourself. Any repairs needed are quoted separately. Carried out by RML Roofing Services.

The price covers the time on site with our two-person team, working on the services you choose from our list. We'll agree the work with you before starting.
It depends on the size of your garden and what you'd like done. Smaller gardens usually suit four hours, medium gardens eight, and larger gardens and grounds two days. If you're not sure, choose "Not sure" and we'll advise.

Gutter cleaning and the roof inspection are carried out by RML Roofing Services, our partner business.
